At first sip I liked this a lot. It is a little richer and heavier than your typical delicate Oregon Pinot Gris. There is more of an upfront attack of spice and grapefruit than usual. There is still that second layer of ripe, honeyed, ripe peach flavor that Oregon producers do so well with. I probably prefer the the more elegant style, but this one is not bad at all.
