Showing a pale golden color in the glass. On the nose there are scents of tropical fruits followed by a light hint of minerals and the overwhelming scent of alcohol. In the mouth there good acidity with lingering flavors of lemon meringue pie with a heavily flowered crust with a strong metallic alcohol presence persisting through the length of the finish.

Very nice nose of sweet flowers, peaches, apricots and kiwi; unexpectedly tart, given the nose! lemon zest all day long with a good finish. Had this by the glass at Stephanies on Newbury (Boston) with scallops in creamy sundried tomato and pesto sauce and linguini. The acidity cut through the richness and brought out the flavors of the scallops. This wine absolutely needs food - otherwise, it really will be too tart. I'm sure the setting (perfect summer evening alfresco) had a lot to do with the experience, too.

nose of lemon peel, peaches, and wild grass, dry and refreshing on the palate, with citrus, peach, and mineral, noticeable alcohol, for the variety not a good thing

Thursday Night 5 for $5 (The Grapevine - Pocatello, ID): Watery greenish-yellow in color with weak nose of peach, lemon, wet stones and golden raisins. Light body, lively acid with weak flavors of sour lemon and minerals/stone. Shortish finish. Singular, hollow, tart and thirst quenching.
