  Similar to previous bottles consumed, this was nothing short of excellent and only makes me wish I had purchased more in the first place as this was the last one. Again a real sense of purity and delicacy pervades this wine which is excellent on its own or with food.

  An excellent wine to get us going with our Christmas Turkey with all the trimmings. The aromas, flavours and quality are consistent with the last bottle consumed in April 2016. What really struck me this time was the delicacy and refinement of this wine with real purity of flavour.

  From a single hectare plot in Condrieu, there is only a small amount of this wine produced which is aged for eight months in barrels. Aromas of peach and flowers with the same on the palate but also an element of minerality. This wine is smooth and velvety with plenty of body but without the almost syrupy feel you sometimes get with Viognier. Condrieu has a reputation for producing the best expression of the Viognier grape and this wine does not disappoint.
