Naples FL wines (Toms Naples FL condo): The nose is like diving into a bowl of dough. Beautiful fresh bread dough on the nose. The palate is spicy, has pear and then a tin like slightly bitter finish. The palate is less compelling than the amazing nose. Nose 94, palate 90.

(Disgorged in 2017, 100% Chardonnay from Cuis, Chouilly, Epernay and young vines from Cramant) Lovely yellow colour showing a fine stream of bubbles with a maturing nose showing butter, almonds, mandarin citrus flowers and opens up with lime citrus sweetness and some lovely butterscotch notes. The intensity on the palate is just amazing with a still youthful citrus acidity before the delicious creaminess takes over on the mid and the lengthy finish showing more mature notes with ginger and hints of butterscotch and butter before a touch of ginger takes over. The lovely intense minerality on the palate leaves a delicious saltiness on the lips as a delicious finish to this wonderful showing champagne.. (Best 2023-2038

Very bright and true to the lite house style. What sets this apart is the super fine bubbles and focus. Still predominantly citruce and yellow fruit although more of a biscuit note on the finish that wasn't there few years back. This is evolving slowly but that's fine with me as it has enough acid to keep it focused. While it's not on the level of FDP it's veru nice for its price

Bright colour, quiet mousse; biscuity, almonds; heightened acidity, whole wheat, nutty; decent finish. No need to rush.

doughy bread on nose, tight-acidic big chalky dry mineral, great length, needs time
