Still in remarkably good shape. Tannins fully resolved. Finish goes on and on. Very light on its feet for a Barossa Shiraz. Still has years left, I reckon.

Delightful blueberry, some menthol, stems, integrated acidity and tannins. Unfortunately we couldn't finish it the first night and it was greatly diminished the second night. A one sitting wine.

Expressive nose of dark fruits with a hint of vanilla oak. Powerful in the mouth; gobs of fruit and more of that oak. Really good length. Finishes a touch hot but the tannins are well resolved. Has that slightly medicinal edge common to Barossa reds. Drinking really well now and showing no sign that it's heading into decrepitude.

This bottle was so good. We were scared we may have waited too long but it held up extremely well in our cellar. We visited Elderton in 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed the wines they produce.
