1st of 12, opened 30 minutes, perfect cork and level - lightish yellow, leggy; tropical element to the fruit, nice citric cut, stone rather than chalk, quite complex and rich; med, oily element, ok length and persistence, underlying concentration for this cru, quite fat but linear and dry, adolescent but drinkable with pleasure, couple of years from maturity, much upside, 10+ years if pox avoided. At least F (17.5) and a fine showing for this cru at this stage.

Sehr schöner Chardonnay! Die Holznote leicht süß und vanillig, aber schön eingebunden und durch genügend Säure und Frische gut abgepuffert!! Hat bestimmt noch 7-10 Jahre vor sich!? Lecker!! 92+P

Faded canary yellow. Buttered popcorn, golden apple, bruised red apple, crushed Rainer cherry, poached peach nose full of aromas. Slight delay on the attack of the acid and then it wallops in with a cheek whetting intensity. Green apple peel, chamomile, salted caramel, saline minerality. Great when I pop'd n poured but lunch the next day it was firing on all cylinders. Random pick up at a local upscale market and compared to the prices listed on Wine-Searcher happy to have found it at a price a decent amount below that. A producer I'm happy to buy blind again in the future.

Nice pale cristalline yellow slightly straw. On the nose, aromas of minerals, citrus, herbs. On the palate, the attack is very lively with nicely present minerals, citrus and herby touch. There also seems to be a touch of butter and popcorn which is surprising with the surrounding acidity. Very good length. Nice textural qualities - nearly Chablis like, and certainly still very young in my view as I prefer the acidity to be a little lower. That being said, a good first experience with Thomas Morey wine. I have a few other Thomas Morey C-Montrachet 1ers to taste and am looking forward to it. 90-91?

This has great shape and a line of intense minerality. It has high glycerol like a good Grand Cru but laser like focus. The white peach fruit is dense and sappy. There’s a big lick of iodine to the finish.
