Doh. Another one bites the dust. The problem with delicious wines is they don’t have a long life in my house. Very consistent with prior notes. On the nose I get white fruits, White peach. Some White pepper. On the palate I get a slightly Citrus profile but it’s developed a touch more yellow fruits and roundness than a year ago. Element of flintiness and salinity. Touch of smoke. Soft mouth feel. Lovely balance. Lots of energy.

I’ve limited experience with Thomas Morey. Have really liked them so far. First time trying Baudines. On the nose, Some white fruits. White pepper. On the palate I get a Citrus profile. It’s taut on the palate. Granny Smith apples. Element of flintiness. Touch of smoke. Soft mouth feel. Became slightly richer and rounder with time in the glass. Remained very light of its feet. Lots of energy. My sort of white burgundy. Certainly going to seek out more from this domaine. Very enjoyable and fast moving up my top 10 white domaine leaderboard.
