  • Nicely aged Montrachet. Nose of pears, green apples, lemon curd, pineapple with hints of almonds and acacia and warm brioche, overall nose is rather subtle but very complex. Palate is of lemons, apples, vanilla and pineappple with hints of butterscotch and with piercing acidity to balance richness and minerality of flintstone on the finish. Medium to long finish. Loved it. Better than current reviews suggest. Very contrasting to fruity Cali Chardonnays.
