I recall in the tasting room, finding this wine fun an zippy. Now, without the view of the vineyards it comes across and cheap and flabby. Has a high-yield kind of a confectionary quality; might work as a cocktail wine; maybe chilled.

Tart cranberries and black cherry...good acidity,..shorter finish but good body....for sub 20$ Pinot this is really good. Would drink again.. if found on sale even better....

Work horse line from Talley. Black cherry fruit with a touch of medicinal on it. Fresh cherry fruit on it, short on the palate, just opened, maybe need a touch of time.

10 months French oak, 15% whole cluster. Medium nose shows floral notes, potpourri, bing cherry, raspberry, orange peel, white pepper. Palate fairly juicy, layers of cherry, light vanilla, cedar, raspberry jam. The layers up front are nice, then it's delicate behind so well done there. Finish is a little shorter than the attack indicates. Acidity does well. Good entry level selection.

Good domestic Pinot. Paired well with steak. Not great with pasta
