The Les Vergers vineyard is some 400m north-west of Le Montrachet.
Pale gold. Some oak toast notes on the nose; a wonderful stone and mineral character on the midpalate that has persistence, lovely acid line. Harmonious and drinking well now.

Perfect spot right now and straddles a fine line between youth linear focus and the broader opulent mature experience lots of citrus , some tangerines, spice and pebbles, bright uplifting palate with a salivating finish

{Purchased on release, perfect fill, sound cork; dinner with LT, DE, ND} Reticent nose to start, filled out nicely as warmed up [I think we drank it too cold to start}. Eventually quite perfumed; Lime, orchard fruits, and almost oily in terms of concentration, lots of stony minerals in the mix while still quite full of fruit. Great balance. As usual a winner wine, I do not think this is at peak yet.

Yes, this is outstanding. Such a harmonious expression of white burgundy, with the previously hard acidity of this vintage meshed in with the fruit in a seamless way. I love it, and it's only at the start of its hopefully wide drinking window.
