Intensely gold in the glass and the aromas are rich but subtle: warm creme brulee fired to a golden crust and dotted with apricots and presented in porcelain even whilst the next table over is being served grilled fennel root. It's silken in the mouth and slightly salty and tastes like a yolk-rich baked thing endowed with the aforementioned apricot (is the color palette obvious yet?), but it all has this sense of CLARITY thanks to its understated minerality. The acids make the sides of the tongue pulse for a very long time — more than a minute. Interestingly, it strikes an appley note when paired with lightly sauteed yellow veggies ("white" carrot, summer squash, garlic, yellow beans). This is still pretty tight and could use a few years, I think

12.5% alc - Complex nose of flowers, pear and citrus, especially lemon. Dash of salt on the palate, with some nice steely, minerality and a substantial finish. Nice riesling for $15. Would buy again.

Tropical aroma. Lime zest and pear with a nice balance of acidity and minerality.Nothing shy about it. Very good value.

Lots on the nose, some citrus and sherbet on the finish. Not dissimilar from the GV but a bit weightier and fuller.
