  • This was really very good. Minerality, nice acidity, longeur, complexity. Unlike other bottles this one showed normal evolution. I sincerely hope Thomas Morey will ascertain stabilty in his wines. But a gifted producer as he is, will find the solution.

  • Pale yellow color, intense stony nose, elegant citrus peel, marble, on the palate liquid stone leading into a marble-edged genteel and persistent citrus fruit with hints of melon, a subtle finish of superb length, with time it becomes quite intense on the palate with a forceful stone quality, after an hour- electric, gravelly, stony, a mid-weight with a good balance to it despite the intensity of its presentation, a most singular wine from a most singular site, I am hard pressed to imagine just how it will be in time- but I look very much forward to finding out. Most impressive. (****), 2020-2030+

  • Super oaky, with lots of vanilla. It's that high-quality fancy light-toast french oak, so I don't mind the oak. But there's really not much else to the wine. There's a distinct lack of extract or power or minerality. It's just oaky and tart, and pretty boring. Very disappointing considering the vineyard and vintage.

  • Layered in an almost Montrachet kind of way. Creamy fruits, mineral reduction, spearmint and aniseed as well. Dense with so much presence in the mouth. Length is superb.
