{screwcap, 14.5%} More of that brightly spotlit cherry fruit, a touch hard and hollow on the palate, which seems to be the hallmark of run-of-the-mill Marlborough pinot. Medium acid and low levels of oak give it a tart quality; it's not unripe (not too hot, given the alcohol) and refreshingly ligh/medium bodied, but the finish is rather short. Workaday pinot.

Tesco Wine Fair (Bristol): Sweet spice, muted red cherry fruit. Juicy, fleshy but a little short and warm.
