A straw colored pour with aromas of dried herbs and lemon puff pastry. The soft, cloud-like effervescence (gentle and light) was a pleasant surprise and added an interesting texture to the wine. Aroma, texture and flavor all make any beverage or food enjoyable. This wine had it all nicely. Notes of juicy green apple, creamy lemon curd, stony summer fruit and toasted almond marry well together on the palate. My favorite layer of the entire wine is the ripeness of juicy fruits and the earthy nuttiness that comes creamy and round overall. Verdicchio should be more popular!

More of a summer wine.
