Hebe Wines Portfolio Tasting (Hebe wines warehouse): Nice sweet nose, ripe fruit, sweet oak and red fruit, some floral notes, quite attractive. The palate is sweet again, rich and round, nice mouthfeel, tobacco and sweet spices, fruit in alcohol, med body and intensity, med finish. Very good quality, drink now or hold 88+

Dark ruby/purple. Medium intensity scents of plum, violets, some barnyard notes too. Medium body with balancing acidity and soft to medium tannins, rather surprising for a tannat, given that it didnt feel like its extraction was on the light side. A tad warm towards the medium finish.

Megamoon Part VI: Salta (Argentina); 11/5/2015-11/9/2015 (Cafayate, Molinos, Cachi, and Salta): Nice and fruity, black cherry, plum, some strong tannins and a hint of pepper at the end. For the age of the wine this was much more approachable than I would have thought (esp with tannat which I associate with somewhat overpowering tannins).
