Almost 5 years did the trick. While nothing spectacular or particularly memorable, it is a decent drink showing cherry, earth, and leather flavors on a medium to light frame that did give it a sense of elegance. Tannins are not obtrusive and are mostly integrated. It is ready now and should hold through 2025 at least. No reason to wait on this one.
Dull color, aroma is offensive, finish is off. Poured most of the bottle down the sink. Disappointing, we've had several Kirkland wines that drink better than their price - this is Not one of them.

Medium brick red color. Nose of faintly dusty cherries and soil, but no secondary character, earthy, florals. Noticeably thin on taste. This tastes like second class IGT, not DOCG. I think someone sold their weak barrels to Costco. Not a good value. At most this will please "light" Brunello drinkers, which are a small segment indeed.
