Had personality, lacked of richness and boldness though. Aromas of rubber and burned plastic, kind of a metallic aftertaste. Weird bottle but I wouldn't say I didn't like it. Drank it during canadian election night with a chinese fondue.

Very nice, oak and earthy aromas, with a hint of apple at first smell (but couldn't confirm afterwards since there was a smoker near us). Tastes were of a dark grape, but subtle enough that it is not too "fruity". Also noticed hints of a dark chocolate on some occasions. Incredibly smooth for a Brunello, and will probably become quite the bottle with age. Opened this on Alan C's rooftop after the NYC premiere of a film he produced.

This was great on the nose - cedary and floral notes. Taste evolved with time - at diff times I tasted licorice and other things among the plummy overall feel of this wine. Smooth, not that tannic. Medium body, ruby color, I would imagine, but we were on the roof after midnight so I couldn't confirm, but I'm sure from the mouthfeel and taste. Didn't have the kind of tobacco or leather notes that kick me into overdrive though. Opened this with Obiwan, P and Jules on the rooftop as a post-NYC premiere celebration. Right now it's a 90, but this has great potential to be incredible in 5 years
