This was spectacular. Initially, seashells and minerals on a pure and very clear palate, textbook Chablis. But as the wine opened, it became Raveneau-like, with that lovely influence of old wood that rounds out the palate and gives it a touch of creme fraiche without being oaky. With more air, a note of canned peaches on the palate, i.e., a hint of the metal can that the peaches are in, but no sweetness at all, no botrytis, just a bit of unsweetened canned peaches. Intriguing wine. Very memorable. Grateful Dead night at Lyle's.

From a .375. A classic Chablis nose and palate; oyster shell, apple, lime, oily texture, all wrapped in firm but not excessive minerality. Drinks beautifully, and a fantastic QPR.

Lovely wine. Good mineral background, citrus and good acidity. Should last a while yet..

Minerals, lemons, bit of vanilla, quite a nice Chablis.
