  Needs an hour to open up. Not quite as I was hoping but satisfying all the same. It’s showing it’s age in a good way but overall lacking a little oomph. Balance also a little off. Ready to drink but will probably go some additional years in the cellar.

  A little more heat than we expected, but very good. 14.5% but seems like more.

  Decanted 1 hour, loads of spicy plum, dried cherry, cassis, truffles earthy finish. IMO fully integrated and ready for action but certainly can last for a number of years in a cool consistent environment. Paired so nicely with filets, grilled polenta, and assortment of roasted veggies.,
