From the excellent 2014, this is really nice, focused and precised, mineral it more refined than other vintages of this wine as I remember them. Greta buy if you can find it.

Drank as a DbMG
The size of the bottle and razing acidity of the 2014 vintage, meant that this entry-level Chablis was still in perfect condition.
The usual minerality was a bit more subtle and more dominated by a variety of yellow fruit.

More complex than you would think based on the nose. Strong mineral, citrus and lime. Almost tart on the palate. Med body, med finish, med + acidity.

Bastille Weekend Recent Release Burgundy; 7/14/2017-7/15/2017 (Dig Wines and K&L Wines, San Francisco): Same color as the Serein. More musky citrus on the nose. More body, vanilla and oak are more obvious. This comes across as less snappy and somewhat dull compared to the less expensive cuvée. Earthy finish. Not bad, but the cooperage is trying to make the wine more serious, to its detriment.
