served 3½ hours after opening. Definitely showing more fruit, very fragrant, sweet and alluring. More eucalyptus and mint. Sweet on the palate when tasted with blue cheese. Showing very nicely 5 hours after opening.

(Marcassin Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard) Medium red violet color with pale meniscus; sexy cherry, spice, berry and baked apricot nose; solid, deep oak spiced cherry palate, but oak not fully integrated, needs a couple more years; medium finish

Maple syrup, cherry cola. Either in a dumb phase or dying out. Still pretty, just lacking character beyond what was noted

opened 4½ hours before serving. Very fruity, very soft and alluring. Such amazing balance that gives you everything in just the right amount.

Bottle felt tired and not inspired. Felt like it's best days were behind it. Perhaps just an off bottle.

Drinking at its peak right now. Might have been the bottle we had, but tasted older than 2003.
