  The wine looked very dark to me. The nose opened with a smoke like wood ashes, giving way to some powerful fruit, ending with red bell pepper and a hint of vanilla. In the mouth, an herbaceous dryness leads to complex fruit medley. The finish is excellent, complex, with all the flavors lingering along with a mineral acidity that is refreshing and makes me want some food! Powerful, with lots of character and complexity.
