  A memorable evening with Georg at restaurant Heimat in Frankfurt. No formal notes. Medium ruby colour. Floral notes, red fruit, spices and a pleasant light rubber component. Firm, restrained, dense, energetic and elegant, with good acidity, fine, firm tannin and very good length. Young. Well-balanced and approachable already, but will reward patience to allow better integration. Very good. Hold. 91+ for now.

  What a hammer! A wine of the extra class, a superlative of aromas and finesse, it does not really get any better, very big cinema!
  This wine unfolds an impressive backdrop of aromas, a lot of fruit of raspberry, some plum and cassis. In the taste, this fruit unfolds in many fine finesse, accompanied by some herbal wort. In the body and in the impression, the wine is rather slim, while incredibly elegant and fine. The whole range of aromas is differentiated in the mouth and burns a fireworks. All impressions are preserved for a long time. Tannic acid is little, fruit acid is readily present. Wood comes very little as a fresh oak, and only from the background. Surely no barrique wine, probably matured slowly in the large wooden barrel for a great aging potential. The wine shows no signs of fatigue, rather I feel a trace of freshness. And that with the age and a year, which is not considered the whole great. Making such a wine is a testament to the experience, the feeling of the fingertip and the precision of the winemaker - congratulate!
  
  Was für ein Hammer! Ein Wein der Extraklasse, ein Superlativ an Aromen und Finesse, besser geht es eigentlich nicht, ganz großes Kino!
  Dieser Wein entfaltet schon im Glas eine beeindruckende Kulisse von Aromen, viel Frucht von Himbeere, etwas Pflaume und Cassis. Im Geschmack entfaltet sich diese Frucht in vielen feinen Finessen, untermalt von etwas Kräuterwürze. Im Körper und im gefühlten Eindruck ist der Wein eher schlank, dabei unglaublich elegant und fein. Das ganze Spektrum an Aromen bietet sich differenziert im Mund an und brennt ein Feuerwerk ab. Nachhaltig bleiben alle Eindrücke lange erhalten. Gerbsäure ist wenig, Fruchtsäure leicht vorhanden. Holz kommt als frische Eiche ganz ganz wenig und aus dem Hintergrund nur hervor. Sicher kein Barriquewein, vermutlich im großen Holzfaß langsam gereift für ein großes Alterungspotenzial. Der Wein zeigt keine Anzeichen von Müdigkeit, eher spüre ich eine Spur von Frische. Und das bei dem Alter und einem Jahrgang, der nicht als der ganz Große gilt. So einen Wein zu machen zeugt von ganz viel Erfahrung, Fingerspitzengefühl und Präzision des Winzers - gratuliere!
