Very good old school white from Italy. Has soft mint and Mellon on nose. Great honey and peach on palate. Good all around wine for price. Served at 48deg.

This is a simple wine, yet it is a great accompaniment to lighter dishes such as fish. Very pale gold, lemony and minerally on the nose, palate is also lemony and shows good concentration. Finish is clean. Drink now.

This is quite basic but also very good, a delicate and restrained but also refreshing Gavi di Gavi that speaks well of its origins. It's food-friendly, of course, led by tart, palate-cleansing lemon, but it exhibits ripe apple, pear, and almond as well, with citrus zest and pith adding additional tartness and, on the finish, complementary bitterness. There isn't much depth or length, and there's some chalkiness towards the end, but it's an easy sipper with a nice combination of flavour and acidity.

fruit a bit muted in this. bottle likely at fault. still, Gavi on a hot summer day is very refreshing and lovely with white fish!
