A bit of a let down in that it has unbalanced tannin and acidty. The wine is nearly sour and wildly acidic. Slightly rotted cranberry (if that note exists) and unripened plums.

An Albarino from Uruguay that is surprisingly competitive with those from Portugal and Spain. Very aromatic mix of honeysuckle, citrus, and mango. Comes into the mouth with upfront bright and refreshing acidity, followed by a luscious cornucopia of plum, honeydew, lemon, and lime. Finishes flavorful, delicious, and long.

3-6 months French oak. Medium nose shows lemon citrus, seashell mineral note, white flowers. Palate is pretty creamy for Albarino, lemon curd note shows some lees contact, medium plus body with peach, apricot juice, lemon zest, limestone. Acidity is there, finishes tasty. Not complex, but interesting and very good value.

By the glass at the BA lounge. Not a fresh bottle. Quite a round Albariño but with a good firm core of acidity and citrus fruits. Grapefruit, green fruits. A few rough edges here and there but not a bad wine at all. Lacked a bit of charm to be honest. 87-88
