Still red/purple, no brown. Strong blackfruit/cassis, some menthol/eucalyptus. Pronouned acidity, much fresher than expected. Red fruits, cherry, mulberry. Medium weight, very fine tannin structure, though still somewhat elevated. Finishes drier than a dead dingo's donger.

Black cherry, vanilla, plum and licorice on the nose. Nicely integrated, with a soft tannic structure remaining. Rich and dry dark fruit flavors for the palate with just a touch of spices. Full mouthfeel and lasting finish. Throws a bit of sediment at the end. Excellent QPR for a delicious shiraz.

Nose of black cherry, plum, cinammon and a touch of licorice. Richer fruit flavor on the palate than the previous bottle, the tannins well integrated. Full and lasting finish. Somewhat one dimensional without any subtilty.

Blackberry, plum, nutmeg, cinnamon and licorice for the nose without any single dominant aroma. Ripe dark fruit nicely integrated with subdued spices and softer oak tannins for the palate. The fruit lingers on the finish, although a touch of acidity is present. Has characteristics atypical of shiraz, without immense fruit flavor but full of subtlety. Definately going to cellar a couple more bottles for next year if still available.
