Purchased 3 bottles after tasting at the Watson's Wine Grand Tasting in Nov 2017. Popped and poured, c.20 degrees celsius. Dark inky purple color, medium viscosity.
Interesting PV nose of cool dark fruits, with white pepper spice notes. In the mouth, light smooth tannins provide the wine with good body, while the blackberry and blueberry fruit flavors lead to a medium plus finish.
Good wine, cool and well balanced despite 14% ABV, but I seem to remember being blown away at the tasting.

Way out west (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Smells 'thick' plums, violets, savoury spice, cream, vanilla, slightly meaty notes. Juicy, sweetly fruity with bold tannins that lend a black tea quality to the proceedings. Nice.

Nice, but will drink better with age. When compared to McHenry hohnen 2013 bdx reserve, Hazel's vineyard, need to drink this one before the MH
