  Worked very well as a last-second pickup from my local Kroger to pair with carryout Italian. Despite the listed drinking window, this seems like it's still got some life left in it. Deep dark color. Soft, slightly mineral and perfume (talcum powder?) nose. Rich fruit, nice finish. Just a solid wine for a fairly random selection.
