Sweet, honeysuckle nose with herbal and sugary notes: oregano, cotton candy, paraffin, and clove. With a difficult vintage, the tannins aren't there to give this legs for aging. I would drink now.

75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc. Oldest wine producing estate in Bordeaux dating back to the 4th century. Dark and brooding. Oak/baking spice notes to the nose. Cinnamon to the palate. Again, another great vintage for this producer which offers substantial value for the region. A little blue fruit on the finish. 2013 was a very difficult vintage. Lots of rain. Some producers (Pichon Lalande) were at 5% of their normal production, yields down and sold a lot off. Sandlewood to the palate and medium/- tannin.
