This wine continues to impress and improve with age. Opened for two hours of air and enjoyed. Nose is bacon fat, earth, iodine. Taste is in your face bold and expressive with good balance of acidity.

PnP Color still looking great, vibrant ruby with a clear edge. Nose is filled with ripe red and black fruit, a bit brambly, red licorice and there’s some dried prune elements here but not in a bad way. Quite potent and focused. This is full body, with low acid and med grippy tannin. The finish really lingers and is the only point where I feel the alcohol is apparent. Otherwise, this is fairly well balanced for a massive wine. I’m missing a bit of acidity but that’s not what I came here for. All in all, drinking great and quite delicious for a big boy zin.

Agree with others, the palate in particular feels a bit disjointed. Not my favorite Turley, but still a nice bottle. This is likely at its prime and entering into a slow decline so I would suggest drinking up in the next year or so.
