There a re cherry, spice, cola and barnyard aromas on the nose. It has nicely integrated wood, soft spice, and restrained fruit on the palate. A medium-length, slowly receding finish, it is thin and light on the midpalate. The barnyard came back after a couple hours after disappearing shortly after opening.

Cherry and plum on the nose, plus a touch of dried strawberry. The flavors are likewise, with some good spice, though little finish. Medium acidity, low in tannin.

Wines of Oregon (Gibby's Wine Den, Geneva): Ruby color. Initially a big dose of barnyardy funk, followed by black cherries, mushroom and berries. Velvety fruit washes across the palate. Berries and well integrated tannins.

Nice. Better the second day. Experienced many of the same qualities as the other reviews, especially the barnyard funk.

Thin and glassy, this wine mixes muted pinot notes of cherry and earth with a bitter, plonky edge. Bleh.
