Ultra old vines. Hue of 2014 greeness. Newer vintage from this producer is rather elegant and perfumed, even silky, not at all the rough impression. Classic Chambolle expression, meaty with focused dark fruit. Good depth. Overall a good effort, although at this price I'd easily choose Roumier or Mugnier. 92

The 2014 Perrot Minot Chambolle Musigny Combe d’Orveau Cuvee Ultra appears to be in a closed phase today, similar to many 2014 reds burgundies. Only 4 barrels produced from a 0.6ha plot located right next to Musigny. 80% wholecluster. Powerful array of dark fruits and lacy sweet stemmy bouquet. Quite lean and slightly animalistic on the palate. Sweet stems and slightly herbal with a good dose of new oak spices. In depth, close to Grand Cru quality. 2013 is more ready right now. (89+/100)

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Complex and varied red fruit aromas and flavors. Fruit is very tasty and structure very texturally exciting. Very good length and persistence, while also very fun. Ever better now vs the couple of times tasted last year.

Burghound Symposium Asia - Perrot-Minot Dinner (Hong Kong): Medium-light ruby. Nose of red fruit, relatively simple. The palate is polished, soft tannins, pleasant but a step down from the 2015.

La Paulée Grand Tasting of 2014 Vintage Burgundy (Pier 60, New York): Light ruby. Appealing red fruit and spice notes. Light, elegant, more terroir. More Burgundian than the first 2 wines. Very good.
