Bricky rusty garnet. Nose of strawberry blossom, dried cherry, leather, earth. Layers of cherry, dark plum, leather, deep earth, Kalamata olive, and soulful dried tomato on the palate. Fresh acidity and feathered tannin. Longer finish of smooth plum and earth. Quite delicious!

The nose opened dark and intense, leading me to think Brunello before Rosso, showing dried strawberry, floral tones, leather, and savory herbs. On the palate, I found soft, lifted textures combined with youthful tannin, as red berry and spice saturated the senses, while brisk acidity kept the mouth watering. The finish was dry with fine tannin tugging at the senses as inner floral tones lingered. This is a beautiful Rosso in need of a few more years in the cellar.
