Tasted on day 2. Opaque purple color. No bricking. Dark tar notes on the nose. Dark cherry fruit. Some sweetness but balanced by firm acid. Tannins are restrained. Nice balance. This is ageing nicely. Still a long road ahead. An excellent QPR as I picked these up for $11.90 a bottle on the Davenport close out sale.

Tasted after 1 hour of air. Dark ruby color. Almost opaque. Some red fruits and leather on the nose. On the palate I get round full bodied red fruits. Medium acidity and tannins provide balance. Some sweetness here. I initially detected some heat but not after an hour of air. Medium finish.
