My first taste of Sauvignon gris. I'd never heard of it before seeing this, so I bought it up, as I love trying new and different varietals. I like it! Refreshing like its sister, Sauvignon blanc, but with a slightly different flavour. Sort of like the difference between Pinot blanc and Pinot gris. Zesty like a SB, to me it tastes most similar to a Marlborough SB. What fun!

Different than I am used to. Paired well with Roasted sea scallop in lemongrass broth. Mixed reviews by the group.

Nice summer drinking wine with charm and none of the gooseberry catpee so often associated with the word 'Sauvignon' in this part of the world.

A nice Bordeaux white, not hugely different from a typical semillon sauv blanc blend. Nice match with Brazilian fish stew.
