Drinking nicely now. Bright, brambly fruits, prominent bell pepper notes, some herbal character. Medium-bodied, well-balanced tannins, but acidity is fading a bit. Drink before 2021.

Vines planted in 1990. Nice, deep color. The nose shows aromas of ripe red currant, raspberry, oak, herbs, pepper and a hint of minerals. Lots of pyrazines as well. This is medium bodied on the palate with good concentration and good class. The medium plus length finish features round tannins.

Bright color. The nose shows aromas of dark berries, bell pepper, herbs and a hint of minerals. The pyrazine aroma is particularly pungent at this stage. This is medium light bodied on the palate with good concentration but a slight lack of class. The medium plus length finish features ripe tannins. This is a bit peppery for my taste. (fermented in large oak with 100% indigenous yeast)
