Black and blue fruits on the nose. A bit of leather and dried fruit. Paired well with steak and grilled corn. Not terribly tannic. Excited to sit on the second bottle for a minute.

4 Deeply pitched with brooding aromas of leather, tobacco, marshmallows over campfire, blackberry, and plum sauce. The palate is rich, though not flabby, with ripe, smooth tannins. A solid example of Washington Syrah.

Drinking well with short decant. Faded over two days though, drink over one to two nights at most

Sherberty spice on nose
Earthy garrigue style with hard acidity and firm subtle tannins.
Very long; needs food and a couple of years.
