Decanted for 3 hours. From my point of view, it's worth to pop a bottle now, if you give the wine enough air. A great Brunello. The score would have been even higher if the wine did not have a slight heat. 93 pts. at the moment.

Decanted for an hour. Was supremely closed on open. Air revealed a lovely nose with spices and purple fruit. Nicely integrated tannins with great mouthfeel and a tart finish that lingers.

Some sediment was decanted off. This wine had an amazingly dark red color at this age for a Brunello. The wine is still fresh overall and softened nicely with about a 4 hour decant. Fruit, oak, tannin, and acidity are all nicely integrated.
