Least favorite Winderlea to date (actually, only Winderlea that I have not loved). Nice nose of graham cracker, blood orange. Dark in glass. Big fruit, however, very, very simple flavors. Tastes like a hot vintage somewhere else in the world, but not an Oregon wine. It even had a hot finish (alcohol). I'd love to think it was an awkward stage, but i don't think so.

Deep dark red pinot noir. Big pinot nose followed by a mouthful of blackberry and cherry fruit. Excellent finish. This wine will age well. Need to buy more.

Solid Willamette Valley Pinot. Red fruit oriented with bracing acidity and a nice finish. A bit lithe in body, but tasty.
