  It tasted of pineapple. Fun to try and two of us finished off the bottle in short order. Drier than expected, no depth but we found it refreshing and brought back memories of Maui and hula shows.

  A welcome offering to our Lahaina house rental. What to say about wine made from pineapple? It isn’t very good. Color is paler than I thought it would be. The nose is unmistakably pineapple. I expected it to be sweet and taste like...well, pineapple juice. It did, but in a flat, low acid way. Reminded me of those little foil covered cups they give you on tropical flights, but worse. I expected to have to suffer through a glass while the wife enjoyed, but she gave up after one sip and I rushed to open a bottle of Aix rose.
