More tart, tight this bottle. Let it slow ox for 2.5 days and it showed a little better but still lean and finishes very dry. By no means a bad wine, but needs several more years to soften and integrate. Great color, extraction, texture, nose.

I am in agreement with YackMan. The fruit was rather muted. Nothing out of place, but I was expecting more. Red fruit, chocolate, smooth tannins. Some 2014 cabs remain a mystery to me

gorgeous purple-ruby in the glass. The aromas jump from the glass with blackberry, cherry, preserves, vanilla, mocha, coffee and mint. Medium-full bodies with grippy round tannins that carry cherry, black fruit, currant, cedar and herbs to the palate. 92+ in my books! Give it air or cellar time!

Put together a nice way, yet dense and acidic, perhaps just not ready in it’s development. Not overly impressed with this wine, it’s just OK after about 2-3 hours open. If I owned more of this vintage, I would certainly not to drink it now, it seems to be a long time hold. 90+ Points.
Day 2: There's surprising improvement. Less acidic and the tannins have smooth out to a good degree. Intense and rich purple dark color, dark berry fruit, pencil shavings and depth that shows to some degree but still repressed. It will be interesting to see where this wine goes, I believe it needs bottle time. 91.5 Points and going places.
