chalk nose, rose petals and dried cherries on palate. delicious , burgundian style . complemented pork chop and lime with black bean and quinoa . should age another 4 -5 yrs.

A floral pinot noir, yet a bit hot. Really just okay, and definitely not good value for the money. Thought perhaps it needed more time to open, but notes were consistent the next day. Won't buy.

At MK restaurant in Chicago. Nose is a little sulphury, plus meaty and smokey. In the mouth its a monolithic and tannic. Dominated by dark fruit and tannin. Smokey oakey finish. Not as good as I remembered from L and I drinking in Whistler, but still enjoyable. Also some herbacioius elements. Surprising lack of fruit given the level of extraction and the vintage. Weirdly shut down.

Classic style. Thin and not overconcentrated. Nose is elegant with lots of cranberry and other red fruits. In the mouth, lots of red fruits. A little bit disapointing as the length is somewhat short and not complex. Needs a good 30mn in the decanter.

Hawaii Vacation Wines; 2/10/2007-2/24/2007 (Big Island Hawaii): Elegant, well stuctured and complex pinot. Still a bit young, this lovely wine delivers aromas of red and black raspbery, earth, spice and wet stone. Bright young fruit (red/black raspberry) and lively acidity create balance and clarity. Should become even better with a year or two in the bottle, but delicious now.
