  Over the hill. Some fruit is still there up front but it's falling apart in the tail. Slight vinegar bitterness in the finish and a big slap of alcohol made this a dump in the end. Tried waiting for it to blow off the raw alcohol but it didn't get any better.

  Decanted this for about 45 minutes before drinking, which made a world of difference. Drank as our second wine with Thanksgiving dinner, with the idea that this was the better of the two and it was. Much more of a food wine, with some tannic underpinnings - Black raspberry, boysenberry, mushroom, mossy loam. A long finish on this wine.
