  Tout d’abord, une très belle surprise ! Wow !
  
  Ayant la possibilité d'ouvrir la bouteille plusieurs heures à l'avance (6 heures) et dans un endroit aéré entre 17-18 degré, pas de décantation en carafe. Je préfère cette méthode afin d'éviter une décantation trop rude avec le risque de « casser » le vin car il s’agit tout de même d’un cru bourgeois de 21 ans.
  
  La bouteille, ouverte, est également restée durant ces 6 heures en position inclinée (presque horizontale) afin de générer une aération maximale.
  
  Robe foncée et légèrement trouble.
  Nez magnifique de forêt d’automne (humus, terre), fruits rouges (framboise notamment) encore délicatement présent. Présence du bois peu marquée. Très bien équilibré.
  En bouche, le vin est ample et soyeux. Un délicieux mélange de robustesse (vin charpenté) et de finesse. Les tanins sont très bien fondus. Très jolie longueur.
  
  Très agréable, une vraie belle surprise ! QRP imbattable !
  Une très belle fenêtre actuellement à mon avis pour ce vin qui est dans sa 2ème partie de vie (maturité/apogée). Est-il au début de sa maturité ou à la fin de son apogée, aucune idée. Mais les quelques bouteilles qu’il me reste, seront ouvertes dans les 1 à 3 ans à venir 

I prefer this method in order to avoid a too harsh/rough settling with the risk of «breaking» the wine because this wine is a 21-year-old bourgeois cru !
  
  The bottle, which was open, also remained in a inclined position (almost horizontal) for 6 hours in order to generate maximum aeration.
  
  Dark and slightly cloudy colour.
  Magnificent nose of autumn forest (humus, earth), red fruits (raspberry in particular) still delicately present. Presence of the wood little marked. Very well balanced.
  On the palate, the wine is ample and silky. A delicious mixture of robustness (fortified wine) and finesse. The tannins are very well melted. Very nice length.
  
  A real nice surprise! QRP unbeatable !
  A very beautiful window currently in my opinion for this wine which is in its 2nd part of life (maturity/peak). Is he at the beginning of his maturity or at the end of his peak, no idea. But the few bottles I have left will be opened in the next 1 to 3 years for sure 
