  • Purchased a bunch of bottles at auction 2 or 3 years ago at spectrum, and opened my first. Typical Jadot real long cork in pristine condition, and my sniff after the pour told me the wine was in great shape and that the bottle has been properly stored. The color was yellow enough to have me worried that it could have premox, but there was NO premox affect on this wine. To my palate this wine had plenty of acid to handle what looked to be malo influenced creamy fruits that had a slight apple character and just enough minerality, with a generous nose of fruit with a hint of saline. It had exactly what I want from a white burg, however one drinker who prefers "extra crispy" wines thought the PMlesF was too creamy and became cloying. I am not in a rush to drink the rest of these wines and will probably drink them through 2022.
