Last of 12, opened 20 minutes, perfect cork and level, another poxy bottle, drinkable maybe but far from what it should be, alarmingly it fell apart in the glass putting on colour with the last glass substantially worse than the first for oxi notes.......and all at a time when for a top wine in a top vintage this should be approaching its best. QG (14)......a disgrace!!!

11th of 12, opened 20 minutes, perfect cork and level, heightened colour, drinkable but blowsy and spoiled by element of POX, saved by some relieving acidity but simply not what it should be and not what was paid for!! At best QG+ (14.5)......and far too many dodgy bottles!

At SuMi, Noosa Junction. There is clearly a good deal of (?closure) variability in the notes on this wine but this bottle was pristine with a dense barely stained cork and a clear light green gold colour. The nose was all white stone fruit, lemon and lime with touches of oatmeal and honey and a strong note of wet limestone. The palate reflects the nose and is framed with a very strong grip and drive led by a persistent line of minerality and matiere. This a delicious and perfectly maturing example which in this format would have remained vigorous for years.

Surprised to see other scores so low. Classic Roulot reductive aromatics with lemon hints. Piercing, charged, full yet acidic palate that goes and goes.
