It is always nice to drink a fully mature Chablis, even if the wine is not exactly premium quality. Clear straw yellow, still with hints of green at the rim. Classic nose of green apples and citrus, combined with notes of oysters/shellfish and chalk ( a wonderful dusty aroma that is so typical). Medium bodied, high acidity in the first attack on the palate, medium fruit on the mid palate, and a bit tart finish dominated by citrus and green apples. Lacks some complexity and minerals in the aftertaste, but the oyster feeling is there, however a bit restrained. This is probably not for further aging, I suspect that it will develop more of the tart tones, and loose the (rather moderate) fruit. Still, a classic Chablis.

Still young in colour, almost on the green side (almost a relief when opening any slightly aged white from France from the last two decades). Classic nose of chalk, oysters, lime and green apples. Almost a bit "dusty". Medium bodied, high acidity, sweet green apples in the first part of the tasting curve, then a markedly chalky tone lifted by a tone of anis/licquorice (?). Ends chalky, dusty and citrusy with ahint of green apples. Still extremely young. Drinkable now, but will evolve positively for at least five years.

Second Sunday Group: 2013 & 2014 Chablis (Jeff's): Notes of banana, tropical fruit and citrus. Tropical fruit on the palate as well, along with quince and apple. With air it becomes more citrusy in the bouquet and on the palate.

Developed aromas with good minerality and some oak. Concentrated, tart and a bit coarse mouth feeling.
