Some questionable storage, but honestly quite pleasant. Golden color. Sneaky medium plus body but more of a light body wine flavor profile (linear citrus and a hint of melon). I really thought this would have been past its prime, but I can’t say that—it was totally fine, although no reason to age it.

Pure yellow. Aromas of yellow pear, yellow apple, gravel, resin, licorice. Fresh lemon and intensely bitter almond, finishing with high minerality. Snappy zesty with a bite that stands up to garlic bread.

Pale lemon color with a bit of frizzante when first poured. Peach and apricot fruit aromas on the nose as well as some lemon and tangerine citrus notes. It also has a floral side that gives it a fresh, springtime-air lift. Not complex but quite expressive and generous on the nose. On the palate, it's quite acidic, with the tangerine and lemon fruit flavors taking the lead. The stone fruit and flowers are still there but it's really an assertive blast of citrus. Light to medium in weight, and the finish is clean and consistent with the rest of the flavor profile.
Nothing spectacular but well made and tasty, and a good example of how fresh, bracing whites can be made in warm weather climates with the appropriate grape, growing methods, and winemaking.

Winebar [3 Whites & 6 Reds] & 2 Shared Bottles from 08/18/17 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): "Immediately following harvest, grapes are destemmed & undergo a gentle press followed by cold settling at 57˚F for 24-48 hrs. Fermented in s/s @ 61-64˚F. No malolactic fermentation. Aged 3 mos in s/sl on the lees with an additional month in bottle prior to release on 5/1/15; 75,000 cs produced."
N: Slightly closed; Pineapples & guavas with notes of minerals
P: MF body; RNDISH entry with NICE frt & bracing acidity which morphs into a LONG, tangy finish. 90 pts WE @ $21, & 15.5/20 Jancis Robinson. [As of late Apr '19, wine-searcher still shows 3 sources @ $20, 27, & $54 (?!?).]

Easy drinking semi-sweet. Good with cheese or dates.
