  highly variable...this wine has changed a lot from when we opened it until now... at first we used words like "harsh" on the nose...and a sharp earthy taste. spicy. dirty. Tannis up front. that was even after pouring through a vivinturi/oxidator thingie and swirling for over a minute in the glass... we just didn't give it a good start. After an hour...it mellowed a bit. More floral on the nose... a hint of sour...it mellowed over an hour... in the end we did like it. but it took us a minute to get there. Some interaction with chicken tacos. not magic. but an okay pairing.

  Dirty red. Also, a dirty nose with blackberry and cola. Light to medium bodied, cranberries, tart cherries, dusty tannins, sage, and a dry, medium length finish. A good red blend, even if you can't tell what's in it.
