decanted 3 hours dark ruby color with notes of black cherry on the nose very vertical wine with strong acidity and tannins still very present, notes of small berries and a nice minerality; precise but not too complex. good medium-long finish

Drank over two days. Not your typical Burgundy. Dark in color, extracted, and fruity...especially on the first day. It came together on the second, putting my mind to the Ponsot house style, though certainly leaning modern. The last ounces showed lovely aromatics of purple berries and sweet herbs. Quite bracing. Notably tannic finish by Pinot Noir...from anywhere...standards. Recommend decanting for several hours.
